Dr. de Sa is the Chief Strategist for the Federal Communications Commission. He has been Chief of OSP since this past July. Prior to this role, de Sa was a Partner at McKinsey & Company. At McKinsey & Company, he was a leader in both the U.S and Asia in Corporate Finance, Telecom/Media, and Private Equity practices.
As far as Dr. de Sa’s educational background, he is graduate of Oxford University, where he earned a doctorate in theoretical physics. Dr. de Sa was a Kennedy Scholar at MIT. Additionally, he earned a post-doctoral Research Fellow at Harvard University’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs. This Research Fellow was in the Science, Technology, and Public Policy program.
