Capt. Danelle Barrett is an information professional officer and assistant chief of staff for C4 for commander, Carrier Strike Group 2 for the Department of the Navy. She is also the former communications officer on COMCARSTRKGRU Twelve.
Prior to her current position, Barrett served as deputy knowledge manager at Multi-National Forces Iraq (MNF-I). Her key achievements there include developing an assessment of MNF-I knowledge-management state of affairs and creating and executing a fleet test of an open-standard chat capability on NIPRNet that included NATO, the Air Force, the Naval Postgraduate School, and afloat units.
