Robert Gates, the U.S. Secretary of Defense, announced yesterday April 6, 2010, one appointment and one reassignment in the Department of Defense Senior Executive Service.
Linda Allen was appointed to the Senior Executive Service. Allen was assigned as Director of the Acquisition and Procurement Office for the Washington D.C headquarters. Prior to this she served as the director in the Enterprise Services Division of the same office in Washington D.C.
Michael Rhodes was reassigned in the Senior Executive Service. He is moving from his previous role as deputy director of the Office of the Director of Administration and Management and Office of the Secretary of Defense/director in Washington D.C. to the role of director of this same office.
