  1. we in U.S.A have one of the best living standards in the world, which has made us one of the greediest societies. the politicians want your vote and are willing to give you something in exchange for your vote even if it will eventually break the country. we the people are willing to let someone else sacrifice but are not willing to give up any of our sacred cows! when was the last time you overstated your tax deductions, had a med procedure by a specialist because medicare paid when you could have gone to the family doctor for half price but government was paying so rip it to them. now we the government are next to broke because of US!!!!!!!

  2. Dear Former Senator Simpson.

After hearing your recommendations to reduce the Debt. I have a few of my own.

Other politicians are suggesting a 15 cent gasoline tax and/or 6.5% VAT as their recommendations.

None of these are acceptable. The only acceptable recourse is to make Government smaller. (i.e., reduce the size of the IRS with a flat tax) The taxes saved in salaries alone could be put back into the social security fund that has been taken out for things other than social security. Require that Income Tax Forms be filed in a staggered way to eliminate the need for a top heavy bureauacy. No more spending! No more entitlements! No more Department of Education! Return the money to the States and let them decide how to spend for Education in their own states. No Universal Health Care! Medicaid is supposed to take care of that. Return that responsibility to each State. No Amnesty! Issue Work Visas! No more anchor babies!

There is an imminent danger of war and our Defense Budget will need to be increased. If the above is not in place at that time then our Country will be in serious trouble.

In order to keep our Super Power place in this world, our Dollar must be strong. No more printing of money!

Thank you for your consideration of my recommendations.
