Alan Greenspan to Speak at 2011 Innovation Nation Forum

Government IT network MeriTalk today announced former Chairman of the Federal Reserve Dr. Alan Greenspan will be the keynote speaker of the 2011 Innovation Nation Forum at the D.C. Convention Center held Aug. 23.

The forum focuses on the underlining business case for the innovation in the areas of cloud computing, data center consolidation, cybersecurity and open source.

“Dr. Greenspan oversaw a period in which technological ingenuity sparked an unprecedented economic growth in the U.S. and the world,” said Steve O’Keeffe, founder of MeriTalk. “It’s time America re-establishes itself as the world leader for innovation.”

Participating in the forum will be leaders from the business and the government IT community from such agencies as Homeland Security, NASA and the Defense Information Systems Agency.
