The results are based off of responses recorded by the Office of Personnel Managementâs Employee Viewpoint Survey. In total, 266,000 employees (a 49.3 percent response rate) took part in the electronic survey, varying from 33 large agencies, 34 small agencies, and 240 agency subcomponents.
The results were then broken into specific demographics and once analyzed, were ranked as the 10 best âlarge agencies” and âsmall agencies” to work for. The results are as follows:

As a whole, agencies scored 64 out of 100 on employee satisfaction and commitment, which is down one point from 65 last year.
