Pentagon Biz Mission Architect Dennis Wisnosky Retiring

Dennis Wisnosky announced Monday he will retire from his post at the Defense Department’s business mission area in the office of business transformation, Fedscoop reports.

Wisnosky, chief architect and chief technical officer, delivered the announcement at the Management of Change Conference in Cambridge, Md. and said he will finalize the retirement next month.

As chief architect, he managed the Pentagon’s business enterprise architecture, corporate level systems, processes and data standards.

He also serves as an adviser on the development of requirements and extension of Pentagon net-centric enterprise services in collaboration with the office of the Pentagon’s chief information officer.

Wisnosky has been recognized a creator of the Integrated Definition language and has authored several books on managing enterprise architecture projects, according to Fedscoop.

Lt. Gen. William Lord is also scheduled to retire as the Air Force’s chief information officer next month after three years of service.
