Telework and hotelling has helped the General Services Administration through its temporary relocation from and move back into its headquarters, the agency’s chief information officer said Wednesday.

In an interview with Federal News Radio, Casey Coleman told host Tom Temin the agency has some work remaining in administrative back-office work, moving archives and shutting down servers.

For end-users, the agency’s Google cloud platform is running, she said in the interview.

GSA moved its email system to Google Apps for Government last summer including 17,000 employee and contractor email addresses, content and calendar data.

Coleman and Mary Davie, acting commissioner for the Federal Acquisition Service, were recently named the GSA’s lead executives for acquisition data systems that store and distribute information on contractors.

The System for Award Management program contains information on registrations, certification and suspensions.
