The Transportation Security Administration is partnering with a nonprofit to form an organization for private sector companies to work with TSA on procurement issues, a Tuesday FedBizOpps post says.Registration for the TSA-Washington Homeland Security Roundtable industry engagement group opens Wednesday and the first group meeting will occur Feb. 19 at TSA’s headquarters.
The roundtable says the goal of the group is to give companies an avenue to work with TSA at an enterprise level on strategic engagement in procurement process.
According to the post, the engagement group will be tasked with identifying methods and processes for TSA to use when communicating with companies on acquisition issues, the post says.
WHSR comprises of individuals from companies who either use or supply homeland security equipment or services and are involved in homeland security policies, practices, procedures and procurements.
