StethescopeonKeyboardThe Air Force has partnered with social learning and collaboration firm QuantiaMD to promote awareness of medical career opportunities throughout the branch.

Under the partnership, the Air Force will distribute information on becoming a service physician to QuantiaMD’s 170,000 members, QuantiaMD said Tuesday.

Col. Marcus Johnson, chief of the Air Force Recruiting Service’s marketing division, said the branch will work with QuantiaMD to develop interactive multimedia content.

“We are thrilled to be working with the U.S. Air Force and its advertising partner GSD&M, in such an innovative way, applying social technologies to help physicians learn about exciting service opportunities,” Eric Schultz, QuantiaMD executive chairman.

QuantiaMD will post presentations from current Air Force physicians and answers to frequently asked questions on its website.

The company also intends for users submit their own questions and apply for positions within the Air Force.
