The General Services Administration recently unveiled an online portal that aims to help government agencies find procurement vehicles to address their information technology needs.
IT Solutions Navigator is designed to match user requirements with contracts and expedite agency buys of products and services, GSA said Aug. 6.
“We are in constant contact with our customers and we understand the challenges they face with IT acquisition,” said Mary Davie, assistant commissioner for GSA’s Office of Integrated Technology Services.
“Our goal is to make acquiring IT through GSA easy. The IT Solutions Navigator takes a lot of the guesswork out of the process and gets us closer to that goal,” Davie added.
The web service features video tutorials, market research tools and chat-based customer support.
