StethescopeonKeyboardThe White House has enlisted computer experts from public and private sector organizations to help address technical issues on the federally-run health insurance exchange site Healthcare.gov, USA Today reported Wednesday.

Kelly Kennedy writes Jeffrey Zients, formerly acting director of the Office of Management and Budget, will lead the technical support team for the project.

USA Today reports the group’s members will include some Presidential Innovation Fellows and veterans from Verizon.

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said in a statement obtained by USA Today that the agency will also work with a CGI-led team of federal HIX contractors.

“They are providing and directing the additional resources needed for this project within the provisions of their existing contract,” Sebelius added, according to the report.
