U.S. Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel has appointed an executive to the Senior Executive Service and assigned two members to other SES posts.Marcel Lettre, formerly Hagel’s special assistant, joins the SES and will serve as principal deputy defense undersecretary for intelligence, the Defense Department announced Tuesday.
Alan Estevez will become principal deputy defense undersecretary for acquisition, technology and logistics after previously working as assistant defense secretary for logistics and materiel readiness.
DoD also announced that Margo Sheridan, previously a U.S. Coast Guard comptroller and director of financial operations, is the new director for financial improvement and audit readiness at the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense.
