Air Force Announces Program Leadership Reorganization

Air Force logoThe U.S. Air Force is reorganizing the management of its acquisition, missile systems, tanker planes and air mobility programs, Defense News reported Monday.

Aaron Mehta writes that Lt. Gen. Ellen Pawlikowski has been nominated as military deputy for the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition and Maj. Gen. Samuel Greaves will succeed her as Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center chief.

Gen. Darren McDew will take over the Air Mobility Command as former AMC chief Gen. Paul Selva moves to the leadership post at Transportation Command.

Tanker plane program lead Maj. Gen. John Thompson has been nominated to lead Air Force Life Cycle Management Center commander and his successor has not been announced, the report said.
