The company will combine its Naomi family of optical instrumentation, ground control segment, image reception and processing center to build the optical satellite, Airbus said Friday.
Airbus will also help to train Peruvian engineers and technicians on how to use the Astrobus-based satellite system.
Francois Auque, Airbus lead for space systems, said the company will apply its silicon carbide space structures and instruments on the Peruvian satellite.
Airbus will transmit data and images from its satellite fleet to Peru before launching the satellite system into service.
