Report: DHS Eyes Single Awards for Next Round of CDM Task Orders

1 min read

cybersecurityThe Department of Homeland Security plans to concentrate on issuing single awards for the next round of task orders under its $6 billion Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation program, Federal Times reported Monday.

Nicole Blake Johnson writes six of the task orders DHS plans to hand out in May will involve cybersecurity services and tools for several agencies.

Matt Brown, vice president for homeland security and cyber solutions at KCG, told Federal Times the CDM program’s vendors previously expected DHS to pick multiple winners for orders due to the program’s size and complexity.

DHS awarded the first $60 million set of task orders to KCG, HP, Northrop Grumman and Technica in January.

Metrica Team Venture joined the CDM program in March to design and implement agency- and federal-level CDM dashboards.
