Christopher Todd Doss to Serve As FBI Laboratory Division Assistant Director

FBIChristopher Todd Doss, a 19-year FBI veteran and former deputy assistant director of the bureau’s laboratory division, has been chosen to serve as assistant director of the division.

Doss has worked on drug cases for the FBI as a special agent for the Phoenix division’s Tucson Resident Agency and later as a supervisory special agent and lead on transnational drug investigations for the criminal investigative division, the bureau said Thursday.

He handled surveillance requests for the counterterrorism division before his stint as unit chief for national security investigations in the operational technology division.

Doss is a former police officer in Gainesville, Ga. and chief investigator for the state’s Northeastern Judicial Circuit district attorney.
