Goddard Center Seeks Info on Energy-Efficient Data Center Tools

DataCenterNASA‘s Goddard Space Flight Center is seeking information on retrofit and containerized data center tools to drive energy efficiency and returns on investment over a short-term, interim transitional and long-term period.

A notice posted July 16 on FedBizOpps says responses are required to meet federal green-energy and Federal Data Center Consolidation Initiative mandates.

Those tools would either replace or supplement current data center solutions that the center implements.

The agency urges large, small, disadvantaged, veteran-owned and women-owned businesses to submit capabilities to determine potential competition, the RFI said.

Responses will be accepted through July 30.
