NSWC Crane, Purdue To Enter Commercialization Agreement

research and development RDThe Naval Surface Warfare Center in Crane, Indiana, has teamed with Purdue University to carry out research projects in new technologies.

Both organizations will formalize the partnership later this week, with Capt. Jeffrey Elder, commanding officer of Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane, and Dan Hasler, Purdue Research Foundation president, in attendance, Purdue said Tuesday.

The university indicated that the event will include a signing of an intellectual property commercialization agreement.

NSWC Crane’s operations are focused on providing technology for the warfighter in electronic warfare, and strategic and special missions.
