ContractSigningThe U.S. Air Force is seeking information on the next generation of electronic warfare receivers in an effort to address modern and emerging radar threat waveforms, C4ISR & Networks reported Wednesday.

Michael Peck writes the Air Force issued a request for information to gather industry feedback the service will use to develop an EW technology roadmap up to 2025.

The Air Force Research Laboratory wants sensitive receivers that are able to identify ambiguous waveforms such as active electronically scanning array, variable pulse widths and radio confusion, according to the report.

The response period for the RFI closes on Jan. 23, Peck reports.
