GSA said Tuesday using the OASIS contracts works to help the Army manage contracting costs, lead time and the proposal review process and negotiate pricing based on information on labor types and spend volume across government.
“To ensure we are continuing to be good stewards of taxpayer dollars, we will use the OASIS contracting vehicle to support our strategy of minimizing duplication of contracting efforts where we’ve determined the risk to be low,” said Harry Hallock, deputy assistant secretary of the Army for procurement.
OASIS offers government customers access to commercial and noncommercial program management, management consulting, logistics, engineering, scientific and financial services.
