websiteThe National Security Agency plans to launch a Web portal that will support talent recruiting efforts for the intelligence community in a similar matter to USAJobs.gov, Federal News Radio reported Friday.

Kathy Hutson, human resources director at NSA, told the station the website works to support the overall employee hiring and retention effort.

According to Hutson, the website will provide a job exploration tool and applicant diagnostic tests, the results of which NSA will use to inform training processes.

Nick Vasilopoulos, chief of personnel assessment research and development at NSA, added that the test results and required applicant information are also included in reports to hiring managers and recruiters.

“We’re leveling the playing field for everyone to have the same opportunity to provide the same information about themselves upfront,” he told the station.

Hutson said the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and Defense Intelligence Agency will act as initial partners on the program.
