The Treasury said Thursday Wall will be in charge of its work with Congress, including communicating program priorities to lawmakers and congressional concerns to department officials.
She will also provide Secretary Jack Lew advice on legislative strategy.
“Anne has been a dedicated public servant throughout her career, and she is bringing valuable experience to the Treasury Department at a critical time,” Lew said.
Wall has also served as special assistant to the president for legislative affairs, floor director and office counsel for Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) and a litigation associate at Pretzel & Stouffer.
