Authorities are concerned about the possibility of UAVs colliding with commercial planes and worried that drones could be used as an attack weapon, the report said.
The New York Police Department deployed a microwave-based tracking system to monitor the flight of a commercial drone over Times Square on New Year’s Eve as part of a test, Morgan reports.
