Rick Holgate, chief information officer for the Justice Departmentâs Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, has announced he will leave the agency to join Gartner as a federal analyst, Federal News Radio reported Monday.
Jason Miller writes Holgate will begin his new career with Gartner on Sept. 14. and ATF Deputy CIO Roger Beasley will serve as acting assistant director/CIO of ATF.
Holgate previously served as a command information officer for the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, Miller reports.
He joined the government in 2004 from Bearingpoint and Mitre Corp., according to the station.
