Carol Bonosaro will retire from her position as president of the Senior Executives Association on Nov. 4 and transition into the role of president emeritus.

She has led the group that represents career federal executives as president since 1986.

“We are thankful to Carol for her stalwart support of SEA and all senior executives, and wish her well in her future endeavors, which will include ongoing support to SEA ideals,” Barbara Pabotoy, SEA board chair, said Wednesday.

Bonosaro was a member of the SEA board from 1981 through 1986 and served as chair of the board between 1983 and 1986 prior to her appointment as president.

She helped to establish the SEA Professional Development League’s annual Presidential Distinguished Rank Award banquet in 1986 to honor senior executives, and the Distinguished Executives Advisory Network.
