The General Services Administration has added new tools and information technology categories to an online portal designed to help federal acquisition professionals connect and collaborate with each other.

Mary Davie, assistant commissioner of the integrated technology service office at GSA’s Federal Acquisition Service, wrote in a blog post published Wednesday that the Acquisition Gateway now includes telecommunications and IT services and security hallways.

The agency also updated the site to feature sections such as Communities, Solutions Finder, Project Center, eBuy Open, TechFAR Hub, Prices Pair Portal and Shared Services.

GSA is also working to implement a statement of work library for multiple procurement categories and the a click-and-pay service on the site, according to Davie.

She added GSA plans to extend gateway access to the private sector, state and local government agencies and the general public.
