Douglas Wiltsie, currently the program executive officer for enterprise information systems at the U.S. Army, will transition into a new role as director for system of systems engineering and integration on Dec. 1, 2015.

The PEO EIS office said Tuesday Wiltsie will serve under the assistant secretary of the Army for acquisition, logistics and technology after he starts his new position.

Terry Watson, deputy PEO EIS, will take up the PEO duties in an acting capacity until the Army appoints Wiltsie’s successor.

Wiltsie has held his current position since October 2011 and is in charge of the acquisition, development, fielding and sustainment of enterprise information systems for the Army.

He is also a former deputy PEO for intelligence, electronic warfare and sensors and assistant deputy for acquisition and systems management at the ASA (ALT) office.
