The Small Business Administration has elected four new members to the Interagency Task Force on Veterans Small Business Development.SBA Administrator Maria Contreras-Sweet appointed Victor Klingelhofer of Vietnam Veterans of America, Max Kidalov of the Naval Postgraduate School, Davy Leghorn of America Legion and Amanda Bainton of the Military Officers Association of America to the task force, SBA said Monday.
The task force aims to grow the number of veteran-owned businesses and increase the number of veterans in the workforce of those companies.
SBA chartered the task force to expand access to capital, counseling and training services and government contracting opportunities for veterans and service-disabled veteran small businesses.
Other members of the task force include representatives from the departments of Defense, Labor, Treasury, Veterans Affairs, the General Services Administration and the Office of Management and Budget.
