Abrams-tankThe U.S. Senate has approved a $1.15 billion sale of 130 General Dynamics Abrams battle tanks and ground vehicle recovery systems to Saudi Arabia under a foreign military sales agreement, Reuters reported Thursday.

Patricia Zengerle writes legislators voted 71-27 against a legislation sponsored by Sens. Rand Paul and Chris Murphy to stop the sale of military equipment.
