The U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command has received frequent reports of scams involving individuals pretending to be U.S. soldiers, who get romantically involved on the Internet with female victims and then steal their money.

“We are seeing a number of scams being perpetrated on the Internet, especially on social, dating-type websites where females are the main target,” said Chris Grey, Army CID’s spokesman.

The fraudsters are pretending to be U.S. servicemen, often serving in Iraq or Afghanistan. They will often take the true rank and name of a soldier and then combine that with photographs of a soldier found on the Internet to build a false identity to lure victims.

The scams often involve requests for money from the victim to purchase laptops, international phones and transportation fees to be used by the “deployed soldier,” so their fictitious relationship can continue. Victims of these scams have been duped to send money, often thousands of dollars at a time, to a third-party address so the phone or laptop can be purchased for the soldier.

“We’ve even seen instances where the perpetrators are asking the victims for money to ‘purchase leave papers’ from the Army, or help pay for their flight home so they can leave the war zone,” Grey said.

Army CID is warning people to be very suspicious if they begin an online relationship with someone claiming to be an American soldier who within a matter of weeks is asking for money or marriage. Many of these cases have a distinct pattern to them, explained Grey.

“These are not soldiers, they are thieves,” he said.

The perpetrators often tell the victims that their units do not have telephones or they are not allowed to make calls or they need money to “help keep the Army Internet running.”

“We’ve even seen where the crooks said that the Army won’t allow the soldier to access their personal bank accounts or credit cards,” Grey said.

All lies, according to CID officials.

“These perpetrators, often from other countries, most notably from Ghana, Angola and Nigeria, are good at what they do and quite familiar with American culture, but the claims about the Army and its regulations are ridiculous,” Grey said.

To date, there have been no reports to Army CID indicating any U.S. service members have suffered any financial loss as a result of these scams. Photographs and actual names of service members have been the only thing used. On the contrary, the victims have lost thousands.

  4. In February of 2010 I accidently accessed a website for disabled people. After 6 mails I received the mail from a Irwin Kelly. I have 3 photographs of the person involved calling himself Captain Irwin Kelly in Kabul Afghanistan. He told me I was the one he wanted to marry and also wanted to have phone connection with me and I had to pay $640 for that. I told him that I had no money and I wasn’t going to send him anything.

Unfortunately I gave him my telephone number and address and he gave me an e-mail address of specialforcesenquiries@gmail.com. He has sent me numerous e-mails over 2 months. I have his photographs, but who is this man as I have been watching the news in Afghanistan on Facebook and that is the only reason that I connected there, and here is Irwin Kelly again looking for Women.

So whoever this person is, he has been trying to get $640 from me, but is this the photograph of the man I am talking to?

Where can I send his photographs to stop him from getting anywhere and how will I be able to know this is really Captain Irwin Kelly of the Bomb Squad in Afghanistan?

    Kindly can you help?

    Regards

  5. hi my mum has been emailing a man called austin kelly hes saying that he needs to put so much money into her account i so scared as it dont sound write please help

  6. Hi Kathleen and Vicky

Kathleen I sent an e-mail to the guy stating I would pay the money, so I received an address to send the money via Western ??? to a man with the name of Isaac ??. in the United Arabic Emirits.

So you see although you stop talking with them they still carry on with their scamming.

Vicky don’t be afraid. This is just another scam trying to use your mother’s account. They say they got money from somewhere like in Afghanistan and then get your mother’s details. Don’t give any details. And let your mom look for someone who will appreciate her.

    Regards

  7. I believe I was a victim of someone pretending to be a Sgt. in the military. I did not see this coming because she was a female. I heard of this but only through men. I believe it is possible that I may have not been dealing with a woman at all. Seeing how I found out that the imposture is getting photos of innocent people. What can I do about this? How can I find out who the person is in the photo and let them know what is being done to them? How can I find out for sure if the person I am dealing with is real a imposture or not? Right now I am not sure. I am scared after all that I have read! Please help me I do not want to get an innocent person in trouble but I may be the innocent person myself. Please help me and give me some advise.

    Thank you,
    Elizabeth

  8. I just can not under these circumstances find that it’s this simple. I have met hundreds of desperate fellows who would pay thousands to a psychiatrist and come up with nothing but a giant bill. I hate challenging you with thisblog, but why don’t you defend your “laws” or at the very least provide a superior explanation of your main argument?

  10. I am an American Female who put my name and info on a dating site, namely *Mate 1*…I was sent an e-mail from a man saying he is an American Soldier, with a few details of himself, and requested to correspond. After exchanging email addresses we began to correspond…he also chats with me on Yahoo Messenger. After about two or three emails and chats he began to get really serious. He said he was madly in love with me and wanted to apply for leave to come home so that he and I could get married. He also said that it was really getting difficult for him to contact me via email, because of bad connections and wanted me to purchase a registration for *TS2Communication* that would cost me $298.00 that would be refunded when he came back to the USA from Afghanistan (war-zone). When I told him that I was on a *disablity income* he told me that was ok, he would be pateint until I could get the money together. Then he said he wants to take leave to come and meet me. He told me that he would be sending me all the info that I will need…because he wants me to contact HIS OFFICER to request leave as his fiance / benificary but I will have to pay a small fee for requesting his leave of absent from the war zone, that too, will be refunded on his return home.
What do suggest me doing to alert this *dating site* of this fraud? And what do I do about blocking this person from corresponding with me any more…he is also a Facebook member and I use facebook for a great deal of my correspondance, because I have a lot of friends and family in other countries and this the only way we can contact each other quickly and easily.
    Please help me ….
    Regards from Kentucky, USA

  11. Has anyone any information on Major Ian Cypher currently in Kabul, on a very ‘special’ mission? He is also a German speaker.

He’s asked me for credit for his phone, then money for a phone call. He’s also asked me to apply as his ‘partner’ to get him some leave so he can meet me. I’ve refused, of course.

He sends pictures of an ordinary-looking man, and one is with his grandchild. I know they steal these photos from websites. He’s also sent photos of him as a young serviceman, but none of him in uniform now.

He knows that I think he’s a scammer and I’ve had one conversation on msn since I told him of my doubts. I didnt’ think I would hear from him again. He says he knows he’s been acting like a typical spammer but he’s been blinded by ‘love’!!!

I’ve now cut off all contact, including blocking him from msn and yahoo messenger. The only thing I’ve lost is the time I’ve spent chatting to this man. There have been times when I’ve thought I’ve been talking to someone else as the written English hasn’t been consistent. Some of the things he’s said haven’t added up either. So beware and use your instincts.

I’ve also reported him to the FBI site https://complaint.ic3.gov/ctf.aspx

There’s little anyone can do, however, except for us, the vulnerable ones. Watch out for them and don’t believe a word they say. Get out of the ‘relationship’ as soon as possible.

I hope this serves as a warning to anyone else. Once the pattern of behaviour is pointed out, it becomes obvious.

    Thanks. Portia.

  12. Hello,

I am living in berlin and was searching for information about pseudo profiles or stolen identyties of servicemember and find your page.

I write you because I have made the experiance with scammer in the last 7 days who contact me via skype and who is using the identity of person – a general major in the US army – General Major John f. Cambbell. I am sure, that this i a scammer and the image and the person of Mr. John f. Campbell is ABUSED, what is realy pity!!!! This is terible think what this scammer are doing!!!!

In Skype exist two profiles with a photo of Maj. Gen. John f. Campbell, wich is from internet. Other personal informations are stollen as well from internet.

My investigations confirm my mistrust, that behind the profile is a scammer. He still did not ask me for money, but the style of communication is typical for scammer. He already loves my, and I am the woman of his dreams and want to be with me until the end of his life….My decision is to keep contact for the moment and to provoke him more after he will start to speak about his real aims. I already provoke him and his reaction was aggressive….what is a evidence as well.

Under the name John f. Campbell you can find the one account in USA in Louisville and the other is under LOVE AND HONEST but in USA Texas!!!??? But both of them are Major General Jhon F. Campbell!!! The second profile contact me and introduce him self as Major General John f. Campbell. I contact the other account to proof, if this is the real person behid. My conclusion is that both of them a scammer. The one is saying he is in Iraq and the other is in Iraq and then was in Aphganistan. He call me and have a african accent. Interessting is that my homepage was visited 2 times from somebody from Ghana and this on the begining of the contact. I can see this in the statistic of my homepage and check the IP Adress. I think there is a conection…

    Best regards
    lana

  13. Hi! My name is Clarissa Jordan. I have a breaking story about a man from South Africa on Facebook who is sweet talking different women into sending him money. He also has a website worldwide claiming to help the needy and orphans. I would like help in stopping this man from swindling money out of innocent money. He asked me to send him $8,000 so he can come to the States and marry me. I told him no. The pictures on FB are not him. I talked to this man on the phone, he pretended to be two different people. I am a woman of God! God allowed me to see what this man was trying to do with me. I was deeply hurt by this. I just don’t want other females to fall for his scam. He is preying on this lady right here in Henderson who had a kidney transplant a few years ago. I feel that it is wrong. He makes sure that you are single and talks u into falling in love with him and possibly marriage.

  14. Clarisa and to everybody here,

I am so sorry for what was happening to you. I feel also very angry and sad, because of the unethical actions of those clique. Thay don´t know any barrier.

Also the person which names and personal information was abused are not less victim. Nobody diserve that! I am sure, the real person abused by “my scammer” – Maj Gen John F. Campbell – is in the reality a great person! I was “studding” the real person (in internet is a lot of information about him) and I become clear very quickly, that it could be possible that behind the skype profile is the real person. I feel like, I have to say “SORRY” to Maj Gen Campbell.

As Portia say: “I’ve thought I’ve been talking to someone else as the written English hasn’t been consistent. Some of the things he’s said haven’t added up either. So beware and use your instincts. ” My feeling was similar! The communication was inconsistent!

    Be careful and mistrustful!

    regards lana

  15. I was contacted on June 30 by a scammer claiming to be an army captain in baghdad. David Haggard….he sent pictures and I corresponded with him over the past several weeks. His english was very poor and his claims that he could not get or received US Mail started to make me suspicious. He had alot of pictures of this soldier with a name tag of Haggard. I am very patriotic and respectful of our military and it just makes me sick thinking these people are exploiting our patriotism and their service like this. I looked up the scammers IP address and one email was sent from Sunnyvale CA and one from Ghana…….I notified MSN of the scammers email address and match.com

  16. As you can see by my poor english that I’m am still shook up by this. I just feel so sorry for our military personnel being used this way……I lost a day to tears, but still have my identity…(for now…I also sent pics)……I will get over the loss of this fictitious relationship, but these people need to be stopped!

  17. I’ve been contacted by another ‘American’ GI scammer, Andrew Trifvor. I believe this surname to be Romanian. Many of the scammers originate in Romania.

This is the third one. The first one was Jake Burgess. But, they change their identity easily and quickly and probably do not use the same name once it has been recognised as a scam.

I wish this ‘trade’ could be stopped too. But, it is up to us, the vulnerable and lonely, not to fall for their lies.

Be aware. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!

  18. HELLO PLEASE TELL ME WHERE I CAN FIND OUT WHO THE MAN IN THE PICTURE BELONGS TO???? I WAS SENT 6 PICTURES OF A SGT IN THE ARMY AND i BELIEVE HE IS A SCAMMER

  19. Beware ,a sgt david wheel,us army supposedly in afghanistan!! the scam is to get a phone line to talk direct,i got asked to pay £226 pounds by a method which would be untraceable…I feel so angry they take advantage of innocent woman and insult our soldiers out their fighting for our country.luckily i did not lose any money,my heart goes out to those of you who have.i felt physically sick when i found out it was all fictious.

  20. I can give you two more names to add to this list. I was contacted by both of them on the same day and thru hoverspot.com. The names they are using is Jimmy Reeves and Josh Lackey. Except they didn’t wait for a couple of days to ask for money or anything like that…that was all done today the same day they contacted me.

  21. I have another name to add to the list, Jordan Smith Brown, his e-mail is sgtjordanbrown09@yahoo.com. I met him on a free dating website. After about a week and a half, he asked me to help him take leave so he could come home, we could be together and get married. He told me to e-mail armyleavesections@gmail.com to get the process started for his paperwork to be processed since the request had to come from me. I was also informed that I would have to pay about $4600 so he could come home and that payment had to be wired to a Brenda Wallace in Alabama. It is a complete disgrace that these criminals are using pics and identities of US servicemen to rip women off!

  22. Mike Gales is a scam. His name is on CNN’s report of women being scammed by the military. I met him on matchmaker.com on 7/21. Usual mails, and then love came into it. Leave was to come, cancelled. Only way to get leave back, MONEY- $4,580.00. I was going to do it. I got what looked like two official govt. documents to sign, and send money via western union. The name the Col. Susan Croakley gave me to send the money to– Deborah Cook, just happened to be on their fraud list. Western Union saved me. I told all this to mike, and also that I contacted the FBI about this, he continues to email, that Ms cook was a mistake and it will be corrected and I can send the money. He will come home, romance me and marry. Persistent. Does he think I would be so stupid again? Watch out ladies- Sgt major Mike Gales in Kabul, Afghanistan. Thank you. He even sent pictures- who is he? I wish I could find out, that SOB!

  23. I was contacted a few weeks ago on Skype, by “Major General John F Campbell”; who almost immediately told me that his wife had been caught cheating while he had been in Afghanistan and that he would be divorcing her on his return to the US in November. He became prematurely romantic towards me; saying that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me and that he wanted to meet me in November in Dublin, Ireland.

Approximately a week later he contacted me again and asked if he could trust me, as he needed my help …. he said he had a shipment of cash arriving in Dublin the following day, which was being carried by a UN Diplomat … this Diplomat needed ME to pay HER 15,000 euros for shipment from Afghanistan …. I went to UK police, who could do nothing as no crime had been committed … So I called 101st Airborne at Fort Campbell, giving them my Skype password … as a result my Skype account has now been closed.

  24. the skype address for “my” scammer is (mg.johncampbell) … I was having doubts that he was genuine and had watched youtube videos of the real Major General Campbell (who has quite a distinctive voice); so I actually sent my mobile number and asked him to call me, so I could hear his voice. He actually got quite aggressive about this and have had no contact with him on Skype since (approx. 2 weeks).

Yesterday I missed a call on my mobile and was left a voicemail, from a John Campbell, who had a strange American/African/Spanish accent; who apparently misses talking to me, as he can no longer access my Skype account.

I am sooooooo hoping he calls back lol!!!

  25. anyone dealt with Capt Dave Collins? A widow in Afghanistan.
I’ve been emailing and chatting on MSN to this guy for a week now.
We’ve not spoke on the phone as he says its for wifes/husbands only.
    He comes across as genuine.
When I sent him a link to a site rgarding these scams yest and I questioned him
he got very upset, couldnt believe I would associate him with these scammers.
Is there any way I can check him out to se if he is genuine or not?
his IP address is Live.com in Kentucky.
He’s now saying that he doesnt trust me because i think so little of him.
    Any advise out there??

  26. Hi Lucy,

well, I read, the scammer John f. Campbell have appear :-)). That was “my” scammer as well. I do not have any contat with him eny more for long time jet, but I was nosy, if he will appear somewhere.
You are right: The accent is african or something like that.

The real M.G. John F. Campbell is totaly different person. He is nice and sure not able to do such of things. His name is used by this boundet heads.

    reagards lana

  27. Hi Lucy, again,

I am realy wondering, how dump can be this scammer to use the identity of such of public person as M.G. J. F. Campbell. It is realy easy to find out, that he is not the real person. The skype name “mg.johncampbell” is the same, as I have. And the information obout his wife was the same. But the real person is married. And he told me, that his son is surving as well. This is true, but this information you can get it from the internet too….

I am wondering, how we can stop this scammer?
I am realy sory for the real person.

    regards
    lana

  28. I am glad that I check this website. I knew I have read this issue regarding scammers. I was once onctacted by this guy who claimed that he is Gen Odierno. His profile and picture was stolen from the internet.. We prbaobly exchanged email twice. He gave me detail about where he got his training, the school where we went to and so on and so forth. I knew I watched an interview by Fox if I am not mistaken with the real Gen. Odierno. I told him about the discrepancies on the stuff he told and the stuff I found out on my research…that was the last time I heard from him.

    Thank God…

  29. Hi, Im from Australia and just been scammed by a person claiming to be one Major Dennis Castle, however the photos he sends are of General Tommy Franks. He came across as a very genuine and kind person making all sorts of promises.
Yes I got hurt and as I only found out what was really going in the last 24 hrs I am still raw from it, but found this website and thought I would put my story on here to help other women. Unfortunately I did lose money and I’ve been on the internet for a long, and thought I pretty up there with all of this stuff, but apparently this person whoever he may be know exactly how to push a womans buttons.
I am now in the process of getting this investigated and am also going to email General Tommy Franks and tell him there is someone charading as him.
To all the other women that have been done over by one of these ratbags, I am with you and feel hurt for you too. We all must be alot more aware of these wrongdoers and if we should find one report them immediately.

  30. i have been in contact with Capt Dave Collins!! He sounded really genuine ive been speakng to him for over a month now. Hes a widower with a little girl of 10 years. He asked me for £250 (which i never sent) for private phone line which i thought was strange because my daughter was in Afghanistan and was able to phone home once a week. He had me fooled. He even sent me some photos. I hope this helps other women like me.How dare people use soldiers to scam cash out of women. Im disgusted.

  31. i to was scammed i am from australia ,he a so called solideger named sgt jonny rellinger ebert romance me i was con into filling out papers to get him leave ans stupidly i paid money he sound so trusting i have photo of a man and he son he has ebert on his shirt i pay monet to olusola olugbare via western unoin i would really like to find this so solidger called man and kick his butt but most of all i like to know i would really like to know if this person exist and who is this man i have photo of if any one could help i like to know how

  32. I to was scammed by a “soldier” named Capt. Thomas Dockery. He had me write to a Ltg. Charles jacoby Jr. of whiich is a popular general and real. I hope the general is aware that they are using his name for these scams. Anyways after sending close to four thousand dollars to a representative here in the states, he was supposedly granted leave and to arrive in the states. I waited 5 hours for him at the airport, of course he never showed. Two days later, I am getting a email from a SSGT. James Monroy informing me that “Tom” was shot on his way to his flight. I have tried contacting him and no response. I can’t believe that I fell for this. They tell you what you want to hear just to get you to do anything for them. We need to stop this!!

  33. I think I am the next woman on the list. Sgt Obed Morrison????Anyone heard of him. I am in New Zealand and have been chatting to this man for a couple of weeks – says he loves me and wants a future with me. He said his colleague was in Togo (Africa) taking Rebels back there and had an engagement ring to buy on his behalf but they couldn’t get there hands on enough money and wanted me to wire him $2000 NZ…….I said it wasn’t possible and felt very uncomfortable – then the next email I get he tells me that he has a case of money being sent to me by a UN Diplomat for me to look after till he leaves Iraq within one month and he will come meet me and we will sort out the money……….Obviously I haven’t heard a word from him since – maybe he has worked out that I am not quite the push over he thought I was. For a few days he has had me thinking that he is going to surprise me and be the UN Diplomat – but after reading all these messages and one being very similar from Lucy. He had told me that his wife had had an affair when he was on his first mission in Iraq and that after this one he was going to retired from the Military as he is about 51 or 52 years old. He says he has two children that live with him as his wife has remarried and left the states. I had chatted with him on voice chat on Yahoo Messenger but said he can’t skype as he has no webcam. I found someone of the same name has a skype account which I have seen online at times……has the same date of birth as him. His Yahoo profile says he is from San Francisco but he tells me he is from New Jersey……..but one thing that surprised me – he doesn’t have an american accent and he says he was born in miami. I have had photos of him in uniform with Morrison on his jacket and also photos of him in normal clothes………how are we meant to know whats real and whats not with people like this out there………..I am pleased that I did not part with any money at all. If anyone else has heard of this man please let me know – I can’t find anything on the internet about him at all

  34. Hi, Just wondering if anyone can help…I have a friend who is a lovely person and I’m pretty sure she is being scammed by a “Soldier Boy”as she puts it.
He is a sargent in the US Army and has been in the army since he was 16 and has no immediate family, he is divorced with a daughter(she lives with her mother) and a 9 year old son that lives in Ghana with a guardian. he has 3 months before he retires from the army and at the moment is over in Afganistan fighting. My friend has twice(that I know of) sent him money thru western Union, and after my experience that I had with a scam letter when Western Union was mentioned alarm bells started ringing in my head.. He speaks to her just about everyday and at nighttime when she finishes work….so where he finds time to lead a platoon and fight an army I just don’t know???? He seems too good to be true, my friend I have only known now for about 4 weeks and she has a lovely nature, aura about her and it just really seems this beast is taking her for a ride! Please help me to help my friend, if anyone out there that has similiar dealings with this man or has even caome across him……I do not know his name as my friend only refers to him as My Soldier Boy.
Thankyou for reading and listening, hopefully someone out there knows of him.

  35. Beverly, do you have pictures of the man with last name Haggard? I know someone who might be a victim. This guy reported being 47 and asked for a phone and money to be wired to Ghana.

  38. A “Marine in the Black Ops” contacted me on Singles.net. Sweet talker claims to be SGM James Carrick Pelzer. Talked about love, wanted to come home to me and my children. Said I could buy a phone system so he and I could talk. I fell for that one. Then he wanted $84,000, then $20,000, then $2,450. Promised to pay me back when he came home to me. After doing some research on the internet his IP Address came up in California and then in Africa. He had every excuse. The link below will show you pictures of men who are scammers. James is on the list from another woman from June 2010. I hope she caught on before she wired him any money. He’s also on Yahoo – jamescarrick@yahoo.com. I suggest anyone looking for someone in the Military to go to this website and take a look at the pictures.

  39. I had a person named David Haggard answer my profile on Match.com. He told me that he was a E6 Commander in Afghanistan. We were talking for about a month when he asked me to send him cookies, shower gel and deodorant to Afghanistan. I went to FedEx to mail out the package and was told that it would cost me $298.00 to do this. I texted him back immediately and told him that I could not do this and right away he got defensive like I was accusing him of scamming me. I already had another supposed solider try to scam me out of $345.00 last Xmas eve. So the lights and horns were sounding when he asked me for $298.00 We did not talk for 2 weeks and now started talking again. Now he went on this website called Badoo which is a singles online dating service. He told me originally that he was from Bedford, TX and now on his profile it says Tampa, FL Suspicion is there. So now he turned everything on me stating that I ended everything and that he is going to get a house in Tampa when he retires next month. Men and scammers should be ashamed of themselves and online dating servcies should check these people out more thoroughly. I think it way better to stay single then to put up with, excuse me, the shit and headgames and lies.

  40. As Angela, I too had a man named Jim Collins, Captain, US Army Reserves, contact me through the religious website. At first he was in Iraq, then because he didn’t want to extend his contract to do a secret mission he wanted to find a way to get home. Then I should have questioned his identity. As the military gets you over there they are responsible to get you back. So I played the game. He ended up in Nigeria. He sent me pictures of himself taken in Iraq (?) and with his 10 year old daughter before he was deployed. He was a recent widow and his daughter was under the guardianship of a family friend in the UK. First he needed money to supply his daughter with a new computer. The he needed this and that. I now know this person is a fraud. I don’t know if there really is a Captain Jim Collins, but after searching for the names of his parents, siblings, etc., they is now record of any of them. For the past few days I have been playing around writing him while I am planning on reporting him for fraud. I hope anyone else who has contact with this particular person, please beware. He is notorious for writing poems, love letters and asking for money. Don’t fall for it.

  41. Beverly,

I too was scammed by a person claiming to be Sgt. Haggard in Iraq. Only, his name was Mike Haggard. We communicated for over a month and I foolishly sent money supposedly to have a package sent home to hold for him. I became suspicious and checked the IP address on the emails and they too came back from Accra Ghana and Sunnyvale CA. I have pictures if you want to see if it is the same guy. Leave me a post and I will send you my email.

  42. Hi Ladies, I was also scammed my story is listed above. I have a few sites that you should visit:

STOP THE US ARMY DATING SCAM is on Facebook

FBI site https://complaint.ic3.gov – (Internet Crime Complaint Center) where you can file a complaint. I’ve done this and I hope it helps.

  43. Wow, can’t believe the scam name use of Sgt David Haggard. I too was sent photos on November 29 with one that is the same at the badoo website. This is awful how there is proliferation of these scams at Match.com. I have been contacted by at least 3 individuals proclaiming to be from Iraq and they’re probably all scammers for sure. I suspected something was not right from day one with D. Haggard for the following reasons, the English was disjointed, misspellings, grammar problems. Proclaims of love, and wanting to relocate from Tampa, Florida to New “Jessey”. He was divorced and his son died. He also wanted me to help him find a house in New Jersey. He always brought up his retirement in January, cash to send over for down payment for the house.. nothing has been making sense. So I decided to Google the name and voila here are posts regarding David Haggard. He said he was in the Army for over 20 years.. but honestly who is in the Army that long and is still a Sargent? My gut instinct proved me right and I’m glad I never went as far as to send him money or packages. Here is the email he used at yahoo dhaggard522@yahoo.com . Please ladies watch out when the English doesn’t sound right or the context does not make sense. The writing always sounded foreign from the beginning, I should have known better.
