1 min read

Corporate Responsibility magazine ranked Accenture second on its annual list of the “Best Corporate Citizens in Government Contracting,” a jump from eighth place last year, the company announced Thursday.

CR Magazine listed 48 different companies that regularly do business with the federal government.

The magazine ranked the companies against elements of seven different categories: climate change, employee relations, environment, financial, governance, human rights and philanthropy.

“Corporate citizenship is fundamental to the way we run our business,” said Stephen J. Rohleder, group chief executive for Accenture’s Health & Public Service practice. “It is anchored in our core values and reflected in the actions of our people, who meet the highest standards when serving clients. We are honored to have ranked so high on this list.”
