LexisNexis Risk Solutions announced today the launch of its Accurint mobile application for the Apple iPhone and iPad. FierceGovernmentIT reports the application connects government and law enforcement agencies to 30 billion public records and investigative tools to verify information in the field.

“With government and law officials spending critical time out in the field and away from their desks, it’s essential they have the information necessary to make the right decisions at their fingertips,” said Haywood Talcove, chief executive officer of LexisNexis Special Services Incorporated.

Accurint mobile will provide government and law enforcement agencies with the ability to locate people and businesses, identify associations and generate comprehensive reports. Director of Law Enforcement Strategy LexisNexis Risk Solutions Tom Joyce said the application will significantly improve the way officers perform their duties.
