Jon Jordan, deputy commissioner of the General Services Administration‘s Federal Acquisition Service, retired from the agency last week after a 38-year career at GSA, Federal News Radio reports.

Acting FAS Commissioner Mary Davie said in an email obtained by the station that Bill Sisk, assistant commissioner for the office of general supplies and services, is now acting deputy FAS commissioner while Mike Tyllas now is acting assistant commissioner in that office.

FAS also named Stan Kaczmarczyk acting director of the office of strategic programs and Larry Hale acting director of the office of strategic business planning and customer development, Jason Miller reports.

Jordan spent his entire career at GSA and served as the FAS’ controller for almost 15 years, Davie said in the email.

His retirement is one of several moves within the FAS as Commissioner Steve Kempf took a 60-day medical leave of absence in July and Davie assumed the leadership role on an acting basis.

Kempf was set to return to GSA in September as a senior adviser to Acting Administrator Dan Tangherlini and the agency posted a job ad for the FAS commissioner post.
