Marine Corps Seeks Online Tool for Vet Employment Program

The Marine CorpsThe U.S. Marine Corps has published a request for information on web-based technology to support a program aimed at helping military veterans and their spouses find civilian employment.

That electronic application is intended to connect users to training and career resources and help them post resumes, create profiles and filter documents through the Marine for Life initiative, a Friday FedBizOpps notice says.

Such a platform should be able to store and transmit nonproprietary data to a future Defense Department network using industry standard format, the RFI says.

A selected contractor must also perform website maintenance, user support and server hosting services for the USMC program.
