Brett Lambert to Lead NDIA Review of Shrinking DoD Budget, Effects on GovCon

budget analysis reviewThe National Defense Industrial Association will analyze potential areas of focus for the government contracting sector for the Defense Department amid that agency’s shrinking budget, The Washington Post reported Friday.

Marjorie Censer writes the NDIA said the study is apart from the one DoD has embarked on and will seek to collate data from the manufacturers.

Brett Lambert, former deputy assistant defense secretary for manufacturing and industrial base policy, will lead the review.

“(The companies are) very excited about participating in something that’s industry-led,” NDIA board chairman Arnold Punaro said.
