Darren Ash, Richard McKinney to Co-Lead CIO Council’s Workforce Panel

CouncilTableThe Federal Chief Information Officers Council has formed a new workforce committee to implement programs aimed at helping to recruit, train and retain government IT professionals.

Transportation Department CIO Richard McKinney and Nuclear Regulatory Commission CIO Darren Ash will co-chair its workforce panel, the council said Tuesday.

The panel was created to merge the organization’s cyber workforce and and IT workforce community of practice.

The committee will be responsible for managing federal contractor and cybersecurity hires and coordinating human resources with the Office of Personnel Management and the Chief Human Capital Officers Council.
