GSAThe General Services Administration has launched the final solicitation for a new government-wide contract vehicle covering office supplies and equipment for agencies.

GSA aims to help the government save up to $150 million in administrative and procurement costs per year through the Office Supply Third Generation contract vehicle, GSA said Friday.

“With increasingly constrained resources and budgets, GSA’s mission of saving the government time and money has never been more important,” said Tom Sharpe, commissioner of the GSA’s Federal Acquisition Service.

“The success of GSA’s Federal Strategic Sourcing Initiative programs requires ongoing collaboration and dialog with our partners across government and industry in order deliver millions in savings for taxpayers,” he added.

OS3 contains five awards set aside for service-disabled, veteran-owned small businesses, the GSA says.
