NCR Corp. has performed maintenance support work on more than 500 self-service check-in kiosks for airlines and airports in 30 cities across China.
The technology firm has almost 500 customer service engineers and more than 200 service points in China and its customers include China Southern Airlines, China Eastern Airlines and Air China, NCR says.
Jimmy Zheng, NCR Services general manager in Greater China, said the business also offers customer transaction platforms to the financial, retail and telecommunications sectors.
NCR secured a deal with China Eastern Airlines last year to provide on-site support and technical services for the carrier’s 130 self-check-in kiosks.
The company has also been awarded a contract to service multi-vendor check-in kiosks for Shenzhen Airlines.
