Jeh Johnson to Discuss Deportation Rules with Immigration Groups

Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson will discuss the Obama administration’s new set of deportation policies with immigration advocacy groups on Tuesday, Politico reported Friday.

Seung Min Kim writes the meeting is intended to focus on domestic and border enforcement issues.

Several advocacy organizations have asked the Obama administration to end what they see as unnecessary deportation rules, according to the report.

Congressional Hispanic Caucus legislators also want to review the new policies with Johnson next week, Politico reports.
