The two-hour event, themed âThe Value of Healthcare in Transforming Care Using Secure Information to Improve Efficiency and Quality,” is scheduled to occur Thursday from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Russell Senate office building, LexisNexis said Monday.
LexisNexis says Edelstein intends to brief congressional staffers on using big data and analytics technology to help hospitals and accountable care organizations manage patient care.
Edelstein holds 17 years of clinical and business management experience in areas such as general medicine, gastroenterology, oncology and trauma surgery.
He also held leadership positions at Florida Hospital Waterman and Adventist Health Systems.
