Pentagon Nominees Jamie Morin, Jessica Wright Receive Senate Approval

PentagonJamie Morin, comptroller of the Air Force since 2009, has been confirmed by the Senate as cost assessment and program evaluation lead at the Defense Department, Defense News reported Wednesday.

Marcus Weisberger writes the Senate has also approved Jessica Wright to serve as full-time undersecretary of defense for personnel and readiness.

Wright assumed the role on an acting basis in January after serving as assistant defense secretary for reserve affairs, according to Weisberger.

Both Morin and Wright were confirmed by a voice vote in the chamber.
