The Senate is set to vote on the nomination of Shaun Donovan as the next director of the Office of Management and Budget, Federal Times reported Wednesday.

Andy Medici writes that Donovan, incumbent secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, garnered the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Reform Committee’s approval on June 25.

Donovan would succeed Sylvia Mathews Burwell, who recently moved into her new role as health and human services secretary.

President Barack Obama will likely nominate San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro as Donovan’s successor at HUD, according to Federal Times.
