Air Force Seeks Contractors for Sensor Tech Research Program

MDPThe Department of the Air Force is seeking vendors to perform research and development on sensing and sensor exploitation technologies up to $22 million in funding.

The Air Force Materiel Command issued a pre-solicitation on Monday for the Sensing and Information Research Center for Understanding Systems program.

Potential contractor will conduct research on sensor development and management, sensing, performance metrics and analysis, methods for sensor performance prediction, cooperative autonomous systems, information visualization, mobile computing systems and computational sciences.

The contractor must comply with an applicable Security Classification Guide standard when developing and testing a system, the Air Force says.

Interested vendors must also respond with data on their security practices.
