GSA Plans New Cloud Computing Special Item Number

CloudThe General Services Administration is planning to create a new special item number for cloud computing services.

GSA’s Federal Acquisition Service released a request for information Wednesday to seek feedback from industry on developing a single cloud computing services special item number under the IT Schedule 70 program.

FAS intends for the plan to unify the way that GSA offers cloud computing services on the schedule program.

FAS also wants to gain insights into how industry partners market cloud computing offerings under GSA’s IT Schedule 70.

Interested companies may submit responses until Aug. 6.
