FDA said Tuesday in the Federal Register it will hold the event on Oct. 21 and 22 at the National Intellectual Property Rights Coordination Center Auditorium in Arlington, Virginia, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The agency expects medical professionals from both the public and private sector to join the forum and recommend cyber defense approaches and tools for the healthcare community.
Stakeholders can submit comments on topics to be discussed at the workshop until Nov. 24.
The program is a collaboration between FDA and the departments of Homeland Security and Health and Human Services.
