GSA Seeks Info on Green Federal Building Tech

green earthThe General Services Administration is seeking information on green building technologies from commercial, academic and nonprofit organizations to help manage the environmental performance of federal facilities as part of the Green Proving Ground program.

GSA said Tuesday it will use the submitted information to select technologies that it will match with federal buildings, then tested and verified by a third party.

The agency also noted it plans to use the findings to guide its investment decisions and technology commercialization and adoption, as well as those of other government agencies and the real estate industry.

Responses to the request for information will be accepted through Nov. 7.
