Chris Hamm, operations director of the General Services Administration‘s Federal Systems Integration and Management Center, will take the role of director next month, FCW reported Tuesday.
Mark Rockwell reports that Hamm will succeed GSA veteran and four-year FEDSIM Director Steve Viar, who plans to retire.
Hamm told the publication that the center will continue its work on procurement for continuous diagnostics and mitigation and building up more contract vehicles for both technology and professional services.
A part of GSA’s Federal Acquisition Service, FEDSIM oversees the Department of Homeland Security‘s five-year blanket purchase agreement for CDM services, the report said.
