GSAKevin Youel Page, assistant commissioner at the General Services Administration‘s Office of Integrated Award Environment, has taken the role of deputy commissioner at the agency’s Federal Acquisition Service, Federal News Radio reported Monday.

Page previously served as deputy assistant commissioner at the agency’s Office of Integrated Technology Services and succeeds Bill Sisk, who has moved on as GSA assistant commissioner for the Office of Travel, Motor Vehicle and Card Services.

Jason Miller writes that the appointment is part of a series of new developments at GSA, including other leadership changes and the introduction of three new hallways in the Common Acquisition Platform.

Karen Kopf has taken over as acting IAE assistant commissioner, according to the report.

Miller reports that GSA Commissioner Dan Tangherlini has also announced the addition of technology software, technology hardware and office supplies and administrative support hallways as part of the agency’s adoption of category management.

Tangherlini told the radio station that he expects the move to help “evolve” the acquisition practices of both vendors and GSA contracting staff.
