ODNI, DoD Update Proposed Budget for FY 2015 Intelligence Programs

BudgetThe Office of the Director of National Intelligence and Defense Department have released updated budget request figures for their respective intelligence programs in fiscal 2015 to include revised appropriations for overseas contingency operations.

ODNI said Friday it requests $50.4 billion for the fiscal 2015 National Intelligence Program based on OCO budget amendments made on Nov. 10.

Meanwhile, DoD proposes $16.6 billion for the fiscal 2015 Military Intelligence Program based on those same amendments.

The new NIP proposed budget is $1 billion more than the request ODNI submitted to Congress on June 30, while the updated MIP proposed budget is up by $600 million compared to DoD’s June 30 request.
